Easy everyday Chutney

Serves 4


2 large ripe tomatoes
1 clove peeled garlic
2 tablespoons roughly chopped coriander
1/4 teaspoon Mustang Masala
½ teaspoon salt


Place all the ingredients into a blender and blitz until smooth. Taste and add more salt if needed. 

It really is that simple!

If you don’t have a blender, you can pound the ingredients together in a pestle and mortar. A lot more work but just as tasty.


  • Make this chutney slightly salty so little goes a long way
  • This is problbly the best of the home everyday chutnies for curries or as a dipping sauce for pakoras and all savoury fried food
  • If you don’y have Mustang masala don’t worry just make this without it but add 1 green finger chilli instead
